I am a wife, a mom of two little ones (with another on the way) and a lover of travel.

For as long as I can remember my family has been exploring new places. My grandparents have been to more countries than years old they are (78 in case you're wondering, they are seriously amazing) and instilled a deep sense of curiosity and adventure in my parents who then passed it along to me and my siblings.

Naturally with this sort of background, when my husband and I learned we were expecting our first baby we made no plans to stop traveling once she arrived. But that didn't stop every other person on the planet (almost) from reminding us to get that one last trip in before we were stuck at home with a kid until some unknown time. To be honest, that was super discouraging especially for a couple who absolutely loves to breathe in the air of new places.

I'm here to tell you that we didn't stop traveling, in fact we might even enjoy it more now.

After we had our second daughter we decided to give up our apartment in Long Beach, CA and become "digital nomads" for a season. During that time we traveled slowly through, 15 countries and 3 continents. It was incredible!

Our girls are now 2 and 3 years old and are happy, curious, caring little ones who tend to make friends easily and are always ready to go exploring.

We now have a home base in Tallinn, Estonia. We love it here and still travel extensively - just not all the time. For us this works best as we find that we prefer to have the stability of long term relationships and community.

So what does all of this have to do with you?

Well, I'm here to encourage you to keep traveling and hopefully inspire a little bit of wanderlust for you and your family. Since we've had some experience I'll also be sharing tips for how to plan awesome trips, keep organized and be prepared so you can travel with less stress and thoroughly enjoy your time away.
